gotta' love it

Hey all,

Here's a dandy article:

I love bionics so much so that I've seriously considered making my next degree be bioengineering. It sounds very ineresting, so much so, partly because it helps others, and partly because it is the ultimate in geekyness. :-) Cross trained with philosophy the mind-body problems that could be addressed with experimental bionics is limitless at our current stage of technology. Cyber-punk themes that we roleplayers are familiar with could be brought to more of a fore-front especially with brain-enhancing bionics like the recent advent of computer mouse controllers for quadrapaligics (I don't know if I spelt that right). Of course non-fiction book writing is what I'm looking at there as well as books for sci-fi could also be a possibility - what better to guess the future in a field but someone in it? I've never tried cyber-punk before but I think it'd be neat.
